YOU CANNOT LET THE PARALYSIS OF CHOICE BE YOUR ONLY DECISION
I am a multipotentialite student illustrator, innovator, and creative best known for my paintings/illustrations that explore the psychology of color and the human figure. I use art as a universal language to break down obstacles and bridge cultural divides. This language is best used to discover oneself, combat discrimination, and elevate one's community.
My work's mediums vary, featuring vibrant colors and detailed figures. My art investigates the dichotomy of right/wrong and juxtaposition of life/death. Throughout my art, I constantly explore and subvert who I am in connection to others and my perception of Black femininity. Only by removing expectations can authenticity be a manifestation rather than a performance.
My identity, self-discovery, and the undeniable joy of creating all have an impact on my work. I am deeply involved in political storytelling through comics, films, and games. An overwhelming sense of justice and compassion motivates me to share my perspective and advocate for others who may not have that privilege. Centering Black voices is a priority for me, and it will remain so as I navigate a society geared to exclude it from the mainstream.
I want my art to leave a lasting impression on those who treasure what life has to offer.
